Saotome Taichi



Taishū engeki is a popular form of Japanese theatre derived from kabuki and as in kabuki the female roles are played by specialist male actors called onnagata or oyama. The young taishū engeki star Saotome Taichi is, for obvious reasons, a particularly celebrated onnagata.
